Rakowice Hydropower Plant on the Bóbr River

DHV Hydroprojekt designed the rehabilitation of the gravel mine area, the construction of the Rakowice Barrage and introducing the Bobr River bed into the mining excavations.

Basic technical parameters of Hydropower Plant:

  • installed discharge of 2 Kaplan turbines: 25 m3/s
  • installed power capacity: 2 MW
  • head: 8.85 m
  • average production: 9 580 MWh/year
